Random Font Mixer does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Everything you type stays on your Mac. No analytics, no tracking, no account required. The only external service the app touches is RevenueCat, and only if you choose to upgrade the app to PREMIUM.
What we collect
Nothing. Random Font Mixer is a local macOS application. It has no backend, no server, and no database of its own. Text you enter into the app, fonts you select, and combinations you save are stored exclusively in your Mac's local storage using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism and remain entirely on your device.
We have no access to any of it.
Fonts and Font Book
The app reads the list of fonts currently active on your Mac in order to populate the font picker. This happens locally, entirely within macOS's font framework. No font names, no font files, and no Font Book data are transmitted anywhere.
Purchases and subscriptions
Random Font Mixer offers optional Premium in-app purchases processed through Apple's App Store and managed via RevenueCat. If you make a purchase:
- Apple processes your payment. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
- RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous installation identifier to verify entitlements. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or payment information. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
- moo53labs receives no payment information and no personally identifying data from either party.
If you do not purchase the Premium upgrade, the app makes no external network requests of any kind.
Analytics and crash reporting
Random Font Mixer includes no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no usage tracking of any kind. We do not know how many times you have opened the app, which fonts you favor, or how you use any feature.
No account required
There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account associated with this app. Your saved font combinations live locally on your Mac and are not synced anywhere, including iCloud.
Children's privacy
Random Font Mixer is a general-purpose typography tool with no age-restricted content. Because it collects no personal data from any user, there is no special handling required for users under 13.
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes — for example, if a future version adds analytics or cloud sync — this page will be updated and the effective date will reflect the change. We will not introduce data collection silently.
