We don't want
your data.

You should own it. Protect it. Keep it. Here's exactly what that means in practice.

Everything stays on your device.

"pendingNoted stores all of your data locally on your Mac. We don't have a server. We don't have your projects. We genuinely cannot read your list."

Your projects, notes, Brain Dump entries, and today's queue live entirely in your device's local storage. When you close the app, your data stays on your machine. When you delete the app, your data goes with it. That's by design.

We built it this way on purpose. Your tasks are yours. Your notes are yours. Your half-finished ideas at 2am are yours. None of it belongs to us.

Almost nothing.

Your task data: Not collected. Not transmitted. Not stored anywhere we can access. It lives in your app's local storage on your device only.

Purchase information: If you subscribe or purchase a Lifetime plan, that transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify your entitlement status (so the app knows you're a Pro user), but we never see your payment details. RevenueCat receives an anonymized user ID — nothing personally identifiable.

Crash reports: If the app crashes, Apple may send us an anonymized crash log with no personal information attached. This helps us fix bugs. You can disable this in your Mac's Privacy settings under Analytics.

Nothing else. No analytics. No ad tracking. No behavioral data. No account required. No email address. Nothing.

Who else is involved.

Apple: Handles all payments and purchase verification through the App Store. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat: Manages subscription entitlements using an anonymized device identifier. They do not receive your name, email, or any content from the app. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

That's the complete list. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any other tracking service.

You're in control.

Because we don't collect your data, there's nothing for us to delete, export, or correct on our end. Your data lives on your device and you control it entirely.

To export your data: open pendingNoted → Settings → Data → Export. That's your list in plain text, yours to keep.

To delete everything: delete the app. Done.
